Orlando Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Persons of Interest in Orwin Manor Burglary and Assault Attempt

ORLANDO, FL – The Orlando Police Department is investigating a reported burglary and attempted sexual assault that occurred on the night of April 15, 2025, in the Orwin Manor neighborhood.

According to authorities, officers responded around 10:00 PM to a residence on Wilkinson Street after receiving a call about a burglary in progress. The victim told police that an unknown man broke into her home and attempted to sexually assault her. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, which may have been discarded while fleeing the scene. A person of interest was captured in nighttime surveillance footage and is being sought for questioning.

In a separate but possibly related incident, the same victim reported finding an unknown man sleeping in a shed on her property earlier that morning. That individual left the property without confrontation. He is described as a young Black male with no facial hair and a Caribbean accent, wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, and black shoes with white trim. Daytime images of a person of interest have also been released in connection with this encounter.

At this time, Orlando Police have not confirmed whether the two incidents—or the individuals involved—are connected. Both individuals are considered persons of interest, and investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.
